Mangaluru: Bus conductor’s body found near Indira Canteen; murder suspected

Mangaluru: The body of a private bus conductor was found near Indira Canteen in the State Bank area of the city on Monday, raising suspicion of murder.
The deceased has been identified as Rajesh (30), who worked as a conductor on the Phalguni and Celina buses plying between Mangaluru and Vitla. His body, found in a deteriorated condition near Indira Canteen, has led to suspicions that he may have been murdered.
Pandeshwar police visited the scene, conducted an investigation, and registered a case. Efforts are ongoing to identify and apprehend the suspects. Rajesh, known for his simple and friendly nature, was an annual pilgrim to Sabarimala Ayyappa temple, according to his colleagues.
