The Karnataka High Court has rejected the bail plea of suspended Janata Dal (Secular) leader Prajwal Revanna in connection with a sexual assault case. Revanna, the son of JD(S) leader HD Revanna and the grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, faces serious charges of rape and sexual abuse.

The High Court had earlier reserved its judgment on Revanna’s bail plea on September 19.

The accusations of sexual abuse surfaced following the circulation of pen drives allegedly containing explicit videos involving Prajwal Revanna.
