Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday, October 22 postponed the hearing into the bail plea of actor Darshan, who is currently in jail in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case to October 28.
Senior advocate C.V. Nagesh, who had argued for Darshan’s bail in the Sessions Court, represented him again in the High Court.
During the proceedings, Darshan’s legal team raised concerns about his health, stating that he has been suffering from severe back pain and was admitted to VIMS Hospital the previous day. His lawyers requested bail, citing the need for ongoing medical treatment.
After hearing the arguments, the judge Justice S. Vishwajith Shetty asked for Darshan’s health reports and postponed the hearing to October 28.
