Kundapura: Thieves decamp with cash & jewellery in broad daylight

Kundapura: Burglars broke into a house on Brahmagudi Road in Hangluru during broad daylight and decamped with cash and jewellery.

The theft occurred on Thursday between 2 PM and 4 PM at the residence of Jagadish Chandra N.

The thieves reportedly made off with around Rs 25,000 in cash and various gold ornaments. Detailed information about the stolen items is still being gathered.

Jagadish, who works in a printing press in Kundapura, and his wife left home after lunch at 2 PM. When they returned home later after picking their daughter from school he noticed that the back door had been broken open.

Kundapura Circle Inspector Nanjappa and Sub-Inspector Pushpa visited the site to conduct an investigation.
