Students from NITK have developed a software named ‘Solmelu’ to promote the unique culture of Tulu Nadu, which includes Dakshina Kannada and Udupi regions.

With guidance from Robosoft Technologies’ team of design and technology experts, the software highlights traditional art forms like Yakshagana, Hulivesha, and Nagamandala, along with culinary specialties such as goli baje, patrode, neer dosa, and Mangalorean fish curry.

The project aims to draw attention to the unique traditions and culinary delights that make the region a popular destination among both national and international tourists.
