Ullal: Fire department personnel saved a bull that had fallen into a deserted government well without a boundary wall in the Someshwara municipality’s Pilaru Palla area on Saturday evening.
Noticing the distressed bull struggling in the well, local social worker Uday Gatti promptly alerted the fire department.
The fire crew rushed to the scene and conducted a one-hour operation to lift the bull out of the well.
The neglected well is overgrown with vegetation, posing a continual risk to animals and people alike. Local residents have urged the Someshwara municipal authorities to construct a protective boundary around the well to prevent future incidents.
