Mangaluru: Mobile tower stolen along with equipment in Thiruvail

Mangaluru: A mobile tower and equipment were stolen in Thiruvail village of Mangaluru taluk.

The tower was installed by GTL Infrastructure Company Ltd., a Mumbai-based firm operating in the industrial sector.

The incident came to light when a technician, responsible for the tower’s maintenance, recently visited the site for an inspection and discovered that the tower, along with equipment valued at approximately Rs 19 lakh, had been stolen.

A complaint has been filed at the Mangaluru Rural Police Station, and an investigation is underway.
