7-year-old Limca record holder, Poorvi Kundar, passes away in Mangaluru

Poorvi S. Kundar, a 7-year-old girl from Kotthar, Dwarak Nagar, Mangaluru, and daughter of Pushparaj S. Kundar and Vaishali L. Bengre, has passed away due to illness in Mangaluru.

In 2019, Poorvi made a name for herself in the Indian Book of Records by playing the rhymes for a minute, setting a new record.

Despite her young age, Poorvi was known for her energy and talents in football and Bharatanatyam, earning admiration and affection from the public. She was also recognized with various awards from different organizations.

Poorvi, who was studying at Greenwood International School, was admitted to a private hospital in Mangalore by her parents after falling ill. Her untimely passing has left many in grief. The Bengre Student Union, local organizations, and communities have expressed their condolences over her death.
