Woman dies after jumping from fourth floor of Lady Goschen hosp

A tragic incident occurred on Monday morning (November 11) at Lady Goshen Hospital, where a woman died after jumping from the fourth floor. The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Ranjitha from Karkala.

Ranjitha had been admitted to Karkala Hospital for delivery and later transferred to Lady Goshen Hospital on Oct 28 due to complications. She underwent a cesarean delivery on Oct 30, but her baby was placed in the NICU and passed away on November 3.

After her condition improved, doctors had cleared her for discharge on Monday morning, and her family was preparing to take her home. However, in a shocking turn of events, Ranjitha jumped from the fourth floor of the hospital.

She was immediately rushed to Wenlock Hospital, but doctors declared her dead upon arrival. The hospital authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident.
