Nitte: Woman dies from electrocution while preparing for brother’s Thithi

In a tragic accident, a woman died from electrocution while preparing for her late brother’s Thithi on Thursday, November 14 night.
The deceased has been identified as Lalitha Bondra.
Lalitha’s brother, Raghu Bondra of Parappadi in Nitte, had recently passed away. Lalitha had come to observe the 13th-day rituals of her late brother. The mishap occurred when Lalitha was cleaning utensils outdoors and accidentally came in contact with an iron pole of the tent structure installed outside the house, which was live with electricity.
Lalitha collapsed immediately due to the shock and was pronounced dead on the scene.
