Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation women’s wing launched in Udupi

Udupi: The Udupi chapter of the Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation Trust inaugurated its Women’s Wing on Thursday. The event also marked the release of the invitation for the Shatachandika Yaga and Brahma Mandala Seva at the Bailur Mahishamardini Temple.
The launch event, held at the temple premises, was inaugurated by Udupi Deputy Commissioner Dr. K. Vidyakumari, who lit the ceremonial lamp. The program was presided over by Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation founder-president Patla Satish Shetty.
Dignitaries present included Udupi unit honorary president Purushottama Shetty, Indrali Jayakar Shetty, the newly-appointed women’s wing president Nirupama Prasad Shetty, and several other prominent personalities.
As part of the event, Vindhya Acharya, an amateur Yakshagana artist, and Sinchana Moodukodi, a young Bhagavatha artist, were honored with the Yakshadhruva Yaksha Pratibha Chetana Award.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Vitla Harish Joshi, the foundation’s secretary, and narration by thinker Damodara Sharma.
