Solo tusker spotted in Charmadi

Belthangady: An elephant was sighted in the Muthyunjaya River at Maikan, Parlani, Charmadi village, around 7 am on Sunday morning.
Reports indicate that the elephant was heading toward Hosamatha, and no damage to crops has been reported so far.
The recurring presence of elephants in the area has left local residents fearful. Villagers have urged the Forest Department and government to implement a permanent solution to address the issue and ensure their safety.
