Ullal: Three students drown in resort swimming pool

In a tragic incident at a private resort in Someshwara Uchila, three students drowned in the swimming pool on Sunday, November 17.

The victims, all from Mysore, have been identified as Keerthana N (21), Nishitha M D (21), and Parvathi S (20).

The trio had arrived at the resort on Saturday morning and were enjoying their time by the pool. The incident occurred around 10:30 AM on Sunday when one of the young women began to drown. Two of her friends attempted to rescue her, but both ended up getting trapped in the water and drowned within minutes.

The resort staff was reportedly not present near the pool during the incident, as it occurred during breakfast hours. The incident was captured on CCTV.
