Geethartha Chinthane 98: Delusion is natural, clinging to it is mistake

We often study for exams without knowing the exact questions in advance. Question papers are prepared in October, and we study in November without knowing what they contain. This uncertainty drives us to read extensively. Once the exams are over, it might seem that much of our effort was unnecessary.
However, it is essential to study everything beforehand, anticipating what questions might arise. Predicting possible questions and revisiting past papers to understand patterns is a mark of wisdom.
Great saints have already offered insights into the experiences detailed in epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharata. These scriptures have been thoroughly researched and analyzed. Delving into every detail ourselves would waste precious time. Instead, we must grasp future challenges in advance and act wisely.
Lord Krishna emphasizes the importance of replacing delusion with a sense of duty. Like surgery, after removing a harmful element, something suitable must replace it. Delusion is natural, but clinging to it is the true mistake. Recognizing this truth and embracing duty in its place is crucial for personal growth.
