Senior Journalist Bhuvanendra Paduvettu passes away at 48

Renowned journalist and Belthangady taluk resident Bhuvanendra Paduvettu (48) passed away on Tuesday, November 19, due to health complications.
Bhuvanendra began his career with Kannada Janataranga and went on to serve as a sub-editor and senior sub-editor at Vijayavani. For the past six months, he was working as the chief reporter for Belthangady Suddi Bidugade, a weekly publication. Over the years, he had also contributed to Karavali Ale, Webdunia, and Kasturi Channel.
On Sunday, November 17, he was admitted to a private hospital in Moodbidri after experiencing severe abdominal pain and vomiting. During the examination, it was discovered that he had gallstones and pancreatitis. For advanced treatment, he was shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru on Monday, November 18. Unfortunately, he did not respond to treatment and passed away the following day.
Bhuvanendra is survived by his father Narayana Poojari, mother Mohini, wife Sujata, two daughters, and brother Yatheendra.
The family has announced that his mortal remains will be brought to his residence in Paduvettu, Belthangady, on Tuesday afternoon for the final rites.
