Global Bhagavad Gita Quiz Announced: Registration now open

Registration for the Vishwa Gita Spardha, an international online quiz contest centered on the Bhagavad Gita, is now open. Organized by the Paryaya Sri Puthige Sri Krishna Matha, the competition invites participants from across the globe to test their knowledge of the timeless scripture and stand a chance to win exciting prizes, including a cash award of Rs. 1 lakh for the winners in each category.

The quiz is divided into two categories based on age:

  • Category A: Participants below 18 years.
  • Category B: Participants aged 18 and above.

The contest will be conducted entirely online in three engaging rounds:

  1. Know Gita (Round 1): An open quiz for all registered participants, scheduled between December 11 and December 20, 2024.
  2. Understand Gita (Round 2): The top 300 participants from Round 1 will qualify for this round, to be held on December 26, 2024.
  3. Appreciate Gita (Round 3): The top 30 contestants from Round 2 will compete in a live oral quiz over video conferencing.

Participants are required to study all 18 chapters of the Bhagavad Gita. Reference books will be provided upon registration to aid their preparation.

The competition boasts an impressive prize pool of Rs. 8 lakh, with Rs. 1 lakh awarded to the first-place winner in each category. All participants will receive certificates of participation.
