Puttur: Two individuals were arrested for engaging in inappropriate behaviour under the influence of drugs in Salmara, Chickamudnoor village.
The arrested have been identified as Muhammad Ibas (19) and Ahmad Ijaz (27).
Acting on a tip-off from the public, local police detained the duo during their rounds. They were taken to Puttur Government Hospital, where medical tests confirmed drug consumption.
A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway.
