Bengaluru: BBMP garbage truck driver dies after tree branch falls on him

Bengaluru: A man lost his life after a tree fell on him while he was sleeping in a park in the Rajajinagar police station limits.

The deceased, identified as Lakshman (31), was a resident of Rajajinagar and worked as a BBMP garbage truck driver. He lived with his parents in the area.

On Sunday afternoon, Lakshman was resting in a park near Navarang in Rajajinagar when a tree suddenly fell on him. Passersby immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital. However, despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries in the evening, police said.

A case has been registered at the Rajajinagar police station regarding the incident.
