Bengaluru: Following the state-level campaign initiated by senior BJP leader Basanagouda Patil Yatnal’s team against the Waqf Board, the Karnataka BJP unit has announced a state tour from December 4 to 6.

BJP State President B.Y. Vijayendra, Opposition Leader R. Ashoka, and Chalavadi Narayanaswamy will lead the tour, BJP General Secretary P. Rajeev stated in a press conference.

The campaign, under the slogan “Namma Bhoomi, Namma Hakku” (Our Land, Our Right), aims to gather complaints and concerns from citizens and farmers about the Waqf Board’s alleged mismanagement.

Internal Party Disputes

The party clarified that Yatnal’s campaign is not officially endorsed by the BJP. National leaders did not approve of his actions, and a report on his activities will be submitted to the BJP high command. Party leaders criticized individuals misusing the BJP’s name for personal agendas.
