Mangaluru: Speaker UT Khader urges focused discussions in upcoming winter session

PTI, Nov 28, 2024, 10:55 AM IST

Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker UT Khader has called for meaningful discussions in the upcoming winter session of the legislature at Suvarna Vidhana Soudha in Belagavi.

He emphasized that the session should prioritize the welfare and concerns of the people, especially those from North Karnataka.

Addressing presspersons on Thursday, Khader urged both the ruling party and the opposition to set aside their political differences and avoid confrontations within the Assembly.

“Any political disputes should be resolved outside the House,” he appealed.

The winter session will be held from December 9 to December 19 at the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha.

A Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting will take place on December 9 at 1 PM to discuss and finalize the key agenda points for this session, Khader added.
