Ragging Allegations: 9 students booked in Surathkal

Surathkal: Nine third-year medical students from Kerala have been booked for allegedly ragging a first-year student at a medical college near Surathkal.
A complaint was filed against the accused at Surathkal police station.
The accused—identified as Sidayath, Amal Krishna ,Sajid Azeem Shah, Adam, Fayad, Atul K., Dileep, Afail, and Shibin—allegedly conducted the ragging at Sidayath’s rented house in Idya village.
The complainant claimed that on November 25, around 5:45 PM, Sidayath called him to his residence using live location-sharing and subjected him to ragging.
Following the incident, the college administration has reportedly debarred the accused students. Surathkal police have registered a case and are investigating further.
