MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi on Monday suggested that Vijayendra, the son of former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, should step down from his position as the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), citing his lack of political experience.

Speaking to the media in Belagavi, Jarkiholi stated that Vijayendra is still too young and inexperienced in politics.

“Vijayendra is still at an early stage in his political career and does not have a deep understanding of politics. His father, BS Yediyurappa, on the other hand, is a seasoned politician with vast experience,” Jarkiholi remarked.

“Vijayendra has a bright future ahead, but it would be better for him to step down from the state president’s role for now,” he added.

Jarkiholi also addressed the recent showcause notice issued to Union Minister Yatnal, stating that the notice was received on Monday.

“Yatnal will provide the necessary clarifications to the party leadership. We are standing by Yatnal and will ensure that the leadership receives the relevant information,” he said.
