Udupi: Grand annual Rathothsava held at Shri Chandramouleeshwara Temple

Udupi: The grand annual chariot festival of the Shri Chandramouleeshwara Temple at Rathabeedi in Udupi was celebrated with great fervor on Tuesday.
The event was graced by the presence of Sri Sugunendra Thirtha Swamiji, the pontiff of Parayaya Sri Puthige Matha, along with junior pontiff Sri Sushreendra Thirtha Swamiji and Sri Vidyashatirtha Swamiji, the pontiff of Bhhandarakere Matha.
The temple premises were adorned with exquisite floral decorations for the occasion. The rituals included the Bali Utsava, chariot purification, and the Nartana Bali, culminating in the ceremonial procession of the deity on the grand chariot.
As part of the festivities, a special Annasantarpane (mass feeding) was conducted, during which the pontiffs performed the Palla Pooja rituals.
The event attracted devotees from across the region, showcasing the rich cultural and spiritual traditions of Udupi.
