Mysuru: Alleging that officials involved in the MUDA scam have invested ill-gotten wealth under the names of their family members and associates, complainant Snehamayi Krishna on Thursday submitted a complaint to the Lokayukta police in Mysuru, demanding a thorough investigation.

The complaint pertains to the controversial 50:50 site allocation scam in MUDA (Mysuru Urban Development Authority). Snehamayi Krishna submitted an additional memorandum to the Lokayukta, urging an immediate probe.

Speaking to reporters later, he claimed that fraudulent transactions amounting to thousands of crores of rupees had occurred in site allocations. Officials have invested illicit money in various companies under the names of their family members and relatives. “As per the evidence I have obtained, former MUDA Commissioner D.B. Natesh has allegedly made his wife, Rashmi, a director in four companies where these funds have been invested,” he alleged.
