Kalladka: Sports meet today; RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat to attend

Bantwal: The annual evening sports festival of 2024, featuring daring performances by students, will be held today at Kalladka Shri Rama Vidya Kendra. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat will be the guest of honor for the event.
Strict security arrangements have been made for the program. On Friday, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) arrived in Kalladka and conducted a rehearsal. Dr. Bhagwat is under Z-plus security, and a special CISF team has been monitoring the vicinity of the event since Friday.
Additionally, under the leadership of Dakshina Kannada SP Dr. Arun, police officers rehearsed security measures on Friday and will implement special arrangements from Saturday morning.
Dr. Mohan Bhagwat is expected to leave Mangaluru at 4:15 PM and reach Kalladka by 5 PM. He will observe the activities of Shri Rama Vidya Kendra and attend the sports festival from 6:30 PM for one and a half hours. Following the event, he will address the audience before departing.
Arrival in Mangaluru
On Friday evening, Dr. Bhagwat arrived in Mangaluru at 6 PM. RSS leaders, including regional propagandist Guruprasad and assistant executive P.S. Prakash, welcomed him at the Mangaluru airport. He then visited Sanghaniketan in Mannagudde, where he held discussions with senior members of the Sangh.
This is a private visit by Dr. Bhagwat to Dakshina Kannada. He is scheduled to attend the sports festival at Kalladka Shri Rama Vidya Kendra at 5:30 PM today.
