In connection with a controversial audio linked to the Milad rally, the Bantwal Town Police have registered a case against three leaders, and the court has issued summons against them.
The incident stems from the gathering of Hindu organization members on September 16 at B.C. Road, allegedly responding to a challenge made by former Bantwal Municipal Council president Mohammad Sharif.
Earlier, cases were filed against VHP leaders Sharan Pumpwell and Bharat. Now, BJP leaders Vikas Puttur and R. Chennappa Kotyan, along with VHP leader Sachin Melkar, have also been issued summons by the court.
