Vitla: Playtime Turns Fatal — Girl loses life while playing on swing

Vitla: In a heartwrenching incident, a young girl lost her life after being caught in a swing rope while playing at Madala, near Budoli in Peraje village of Bantwal taluk on Sunday evening (December 8).

The deceased has been identified as Thirthashree, daughter of Kishore, a resident of Budoli Madala.

Thirthashree, a Class 3 student at a local school, was playing on a swing when the rope accidentally got entangled around her neck, leading to the fatal accident.

A case has been registered at the Vitla Police Station, and officers visited the scene for further investigation.
