Udupi: Motorist assaults man for questioning driving in wrong direction

Udupi: A motorist allegedly assaulted a scooter rider after he questioned him for driving in the wrong direction in Udupi here.

The incident took place near the Radha Vihar Hotel in Ambalpadi, opposite Adi Udupi School.

The scooter rider Rajan Kumar, a resident of Malpe, was traveling from Udupi towards Malpe when a Mahindra Thar vehicle approached from the wrong direction. When Kumar confronted the vehicle driver about this, the latter attacked him with his own helmet and fled the scene.

A case has been registered, and police are investigating the incident.
