Ullal: Mother of three succumbs to burn injuries after gas leak accident

Ullal: A mother of three, who was critically injured in a gas leak fire accident, passed away late Thursday night while undergoing treatment.

The tragic incident occurred in Manjanady village, late on Saturday, December 7 night, leaving a mother and her three children seriously injured.

Kubra (40), and her three children Mehandi, Maziha, and Mayiza —were sleeping in the same room when a gas leak caused a fire. All four sustained severe burns. They were immediately rushed to a private hospital in Deralakatte for treatment.

Unfortunately, Kubra succumbed to her injuries on December 12. Her children are still under treatment. The last rites will be conducted at their residence.
