Bengaluru’s much-anticipated Cake Show has begun at the Tripuravasini grounds in Palace Grounds and will continue until January 1. This year’s highlights include a mesmerizing Dinosaur World and the Ratatouille Kitchen.
Organized jointly by the Institute of Baking and Cake Arts and My Bake Mart as part of their Golden Jubilee celebrations, the event is themed “A Celebration of Art”.
The show features around 20 incredible cake sculptures that promise to transport visitors into a magical cake world. These artistic cake masterpieces are open for public viewing daily from 10 AM to 9 PM.
The Enchanted Christmas Tree
A spectacular 20-foot-tall Christmas tree made entirely of cake and weighing 2.8 tons is one of the major attractions. Adding to its charm are miniature toy trains that move around the tree, enhancing its festive appeal. Crafted by a team of 11 members over 60 days, this creation is a marvel of craftsmanship and dedication.
Dinosaur World and Other Marvels
The Dinosaur World display is a striking blend of sugar art and creativity. Featuring sugar-crafted dinosaurs, volcanic terrains, and lush greenery, it offers a glimpse into a prehistoric wonderland. Other highlights include a glasshouse garden made of sugar and a depiction of Bengaluru’s founder, Kempegowda, along with his heritage.
Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir
Another standout is the Ram Mandir, modeled on the architecture of Ayodhya’s temple. Made entirely of sugar syrup, the creation weighs 860 kg and showcases intricate details, including lions, elephants, and a statue of Hanuman.
The Cake Show continues to awe visitors, combining culinary artistry with cultural themes.
