Manipal: Parents must nurture their children carefully to shape them into assets for society. Providing good values from an early age will surely lead them to achieve great heights, said Dr. Sudhakar Shetty, founder-president of the Ajekar Padma Gopal Education Trust.
Speaking at the prize distribution ceremony of the Chiguru Chitra– 2024 contest organized by Udayavani as part of Children’s Day celebrations, Dr. Shetty emphasized the importance of parental vigilance. “Parents must not lose focus on their children due to distractions like mobile phones. Instead, they should encourage children to pursue their interests,” he said.
He also urged parents to remain alert and guide their children away from potential missteps. Dr. Shetty highlighted the role of parental inspiration in achieving success and praised the Pai family’s vision and care, which have transformed Manipal into a hub for education and livelihood.
