Gadag: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced that a three-day discussion on the issues of North Karnataka will be held from Monday to Wednesday. Efforts will be made to find solutions to the region’s challenges, he said.

Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, CM Siddaramaiah addressed the question regarding BJP leader B.Y. Vijayendra’s alleged Rs 150 crore inducement in the Waqf matter. He clarified that a letter had been sent to the Centre based on the video statement given by Manippady.

When asked about BJP’s claim that a CBI probe would expose Congress members, Siddaramaiah retorted, “If that is the case, let them call for a CBI inquiry.” He added that the media is well aware of whose voice it is in the video, indirectly referring to Manippady.
