Belagavi: Students from Bilinele Kaikamba Government Primary School in Kadaba taluk, along with other schools, were given an insightful lesson on the Anubhava Mantapa by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah during their school trip to Suvarna Soudha on Monday.

A group of 33 students from Bilinele Kaikamba, accompanied by their teachers, visited Suvarna Soudha as part of their educational excursion. Their visit began with an interaction with Assembly Speaker UT Khader.

The students impressed Khader by reciting the Preamble of the Constitution. Moved by their performance, the Speaker arranged a meeting with the Chief Minister.

When they met CM Siddaramaiah, the students once again recited the Constitution’s Preamble without referring to the text. The Chief Minister applauded their effort, praising both the students and their teachers for their dedication.

During the interaction, Siddaramaiah explained the historical significance of the Anubhava Mantapa, a 12th-century democratic forum envisioned by Basavanna, which was ahead of its time in promoting democratic principles.

The students were accompanied by headmistress Pavithra, SDMC President Naveen, teacher Vanitha, and others.
