Man dies after falling from train near Bantwal

Bantwal: In a tragic incident, a man died after falling from a moving train near Nettarakere in the Bantwal Town Police Station limits on Tuesday, December 17 morning.
The deceased has been identified as Shashikumar S., a resident of Kadaba taluk.
Shashikumar was traveling on an express train from Subramanya to Mangaluru. He was reportedly seated on the steps of the train when he accidentally lost his balance and fell off.
Passengers on the train who witnessed the incident informed the Mangaluru Railway Police. Shashikumar’s body was later found near the railway tracks.
Though there was no immediate information regarding his identity or address, the Railway Police confirmed the details after further investigation.
