Kundapura: Jet ski overturns in rough sea; Rider missing

Kundapura: A jet ski boat carrying a tourist capsized at the Trasi beach on Saturday evening. A tourist on the jet ski was rescued but the rider went missing.
The missing rider has been identified as Rohidas (45).
The mishap occurred during a ride conducted by Beluga Water Sports at Trasi Beach when the rider lost control, causing the jet ski to overturn.
The tourist, who was wearing a life jacket, was safely brought ashore.
Rohidas, a resident of Murdeshwar, had been living in Trasi with his family and earning a livelihood by operating jet skis and boat rides. Following the incident, Gangolli police and coastal security personnel arrived at the scene and initiated search operations to locate the missing rider.
