After gaining attention for its visit to Ayodhya’s Ram temple, a bull named “Basappa” is now on its way to seek the blessings of Lord Ayyappa at the Sabarimala temple in Kerala.
Basappa’s journey began from the Dinne Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Peramagonadanahalli village, Dodballapur taluk. A special bus has been arranged exclusively for Basappa’s pilgrimage. The responsibility of ensuring a smooth journey and organizing the visit has been undertaken by Vasudevachar, who has already made all necessary arrangements.
A ceremony was held at the Dinne Anjaneya Swamy Temple to mark the start of the journey, with Vasudevachar leading rituals, including Ayyappa Swamy bhajans and other customary prayers.
The itinerary includes visits to other temples along the route, with Basappa’s pilgrimage to culminate at Sabarimala. Following this, Basappa will proceed on another pilgrimage to Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu, for which preparations are already underway, Vasudevachar stated.
