Udupi: Car falls into pit dug for flyover construction; Passengers escape with minor injuries

Udupi: A car overturned and fell into a large pit at Ambalapady Junction on NH 66 in Udupi early Friday morning, December 27, around 3 AM.
The accident occurred when the driver of the Kerala-registered car, carrying 5 passengers traveling to Kollur lost control and fell into the large pit dug for the construction of a flyover pillar.
Fortunately, all passengers escaped with minor injuries.
Locals have demanded immediate steps to ensure proper safety around the site to prevent future accidents.
