Another victim of Surathkal cylinder blast dies

A woman, who suffered critical injuries in a fire caused by a gas cylinder leak in Tadanbail Venkataramana Colony on December 18, passed away at the hospital where she was undergoing treatment.

The deceased Vasanthi, wife of Vamana and her sister-in-law Pushpa sustained burn injuries after a gas leak in the kitchen went unnoticed, leading to a fire when the stove was lit. The incident occurred on December 18.

Pushpa, the sister of house owner Vamana, succumbed to her injuries on December 26 and Vasanthi passed away on Friday. Both women were undergoing intensive care at a private hospital for the past nine days.
