Manipal: Reliance Digital extended its support to “Ajja-Ajji Oota,” a mess run by elderly couple Gopalakrishna Prabhu and Vasanti Prabhu in Perkala, near Manipal, as part of its “Happiness Project.”
The initiative saw hosts Farah Khan and Sanjyot Keer present essential appliances such as a 4-burner gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, mixer, microwave, and smartphone to the couple.
The elderly couple used to commute daily by rickshaw to buy vegetables and prepare meals on a wood stove, which caused health issues like eye irritation. “With the refrigerator, we can now store vegetables for longer. Reliance Digital’s contribution has made our work much easier,” they expressed with gratitude.
Reliance Digital’s statement mentioned that the Happiness Project aims to support individuals facing challenges by leveraging technology to help them fulfill their dreams. For more information, visit www.reliancedigital.in.
