Ramanagara: Three killed in two separate accidents

Three persons died and several were injured in two separate accidents in Magadi on New Year’s Day.

In the first incident, a car carrying a group of youths overturned near Hosapalya’s Janata Colony. The accident occurred around 3 AM when the group was reportedly heading out for tea. Two individuals, identified as Manju (31) and Kiran (30), both residents of Magadi Taluk, lost their lives on the spot. Five others sustained injuries and are being treated at the Magadi Government Hospital.

In the second incident, a pedestrian was fatally hit by a bike near Magadi New Market Circle. Siddappa (45) was killed instantly, while the biker, identified as Mohan, sustained injuries. The incident occurred around 12:30 AM. Mohan is receiving treatment at a government hospital.

Both cases have been registered at the Magadi Police Station, and investigations are ongoing.
