Ajjarakadu: FIR filed over altercation at Gym

Udupi: A complaint and counter complaint have been filed at city police station over a scuffle that took place at the Ajjarakadu Government Gym

On December 31, Udyavara Pradeep Samuel arrived at the gym in the morning as usual. On his return, another gym member, Lakshith, informed him that gym trainer Umesh was calling him. He went to Umesh, who denied making such a call.

Irked by this Pradeep confronted Lakshith over this but he allegedly struck Pradeep on the head with a gym equipment.

Counter-Complaint by Lakshith

In a counter-complaint, Lakshith accused Pradeep of abusing and assaulting him when they encountered each other inside the gym. Lakshith further stated that he had been attacked with a rod from the gym equipment, and while attempting to defend himself, his right hand was injured. Lakshith also claimed that Pradeep had threatened him with a death threat.
