A shocking video of Madhugiri DYSP Ramachandrappa allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in his office has surfaced.
According to reports, the woman had approached the DYSP’s office in Pavagada to file a complaint regarding a land dispute. Instead of addressing her grievance, the officer allegedly took her to a private room or restroom within his office and engaged in unethical behavior. The incident was recorded through a window, and the video has now been made public.
The incident occurred in the home district of the state’s Home Minister and the constituency of the Cooperation Minister, causing embarrassment to both the ministers.
Action Will Be Taken: Tumakuru SP
Terming the incident as “unfortunate,” Tumakuru SP Ashok stated, “This is a serious matter. Senior officers have been informed, and a detailed investigation will be conducted. I had some information about the case earlier, but there was no evidence at the time. The department will not tolerate any form of harassment or violence against women. Legal action will be initiated to ensure public trust in the police department remains intact.”
