In a shocking incident reported in the JP Nagar police station limits, a 16-year-old SSLC student who attended tuition classes was allegedly lured and abducted by her teacher under the pretext of love. The incident, which occurred on November 23, has only recently come to light.

The accused, identified as Abhishek, a private tuition teacher, has been booked for abduction following a complaint lodged by the girl’s parents.

Incident Details

The student, a native of Kanakapura, regularly attended Abhishek’s tuition classes. On the night of the incident, the girl failed to return home after her class. Concerned, her parents went to the tuition center to inquire and learned from others present that Abhishek had taken her away.

Attempts to contact Abhishek revealed that he had left his phone in his room and fled with the girl.

Acting on the complaint filed by the girl’s parents, the JP Nagar police registered a case and began searching for the accused. However, Abhishek reportedly stopped using his phone, digital payment apps, and ATMs making it difficult for authorities to trace him. Police have been conducting extensive searches in Ramanagara, Kanakapura, and other parts of the state but have yet to locate the duo.

Police have announced a reward of Rs 25,000 for anyone providing credible information leading to Abhishek’s capture.
