Leopard spotted near Sindagi bypass, residents alarmed

Vijayapura: A leopard was sighted near Sindagi Bypass in the city, with its movements captured on CCTV in the Muneshwar Bagh area.
The incident occurred on Sunday night, January 5, triggering panic among local residents. Upon receiving the information, forest department officials promptly visited the area and conducted a survey.
Authorities have issued warnings to residents to remain cautious, and efforts to capture the leopard are underway. Forest officials have initiated a plan to safely trap and relocate the animal.
