Tiptur: A youth caught a leopard by its tail as it tried to escape during a forest department rescue operation. The incident occurred in Rangapura village, Keregodi, Tiptur taluk, where the leopard terrorized residents for several days.
The leopard, prowling the area and disturbing the peace, eluded forest officials despite multiple attempts to capture it. However, during one such operation, the animal panicked due to the crowd’s commotion and tried to escape.
At this critical moment, a young man named Naveen grabbed the four-year-old leopard by its tail, risking his own life.
Fortunately, the leopard did not retaliate, which prevented a potentially dangerous situation. The forest officials quickly trapped the animal in a net and successfully captured it.
With his help, the forest department managed to bring an end to the residents’ days of sleeplessness caused by the leopard’s menace.
The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
