Mangaluru: Petrol pump supervisor scams Rs 58.85L using personal QR code

A petrol pump supervisor in Mangaluru has been accused of defrauding Rs 58.85 lakh by replacing the pump’s official QR code with his personal one.
The incident occurred at the Reliance Outlet fuel station in Bangrakuloor, where the accused, Mohandas, was responsible for managing financial transactions.
Between March 1 and July 31, 2023, Mohandas allegedly swapped the official QR code with his own, deceiving customers into transferring payments to his account.
The manager of the Reliance Outlet fuel station has lodged a complaint at the CEN police station.
