BMS leaders discuss KIOCL-NMDC merger with minister Kumaraswamy

New Delhi: Senior office bearers of the Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) met with the Union Minister of Steel, H.D. Kumaraswamy, and DIPAM Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey on January 8, 2025, to discuss the ongoing merger process of KIOCL with NMDC, a press note said.

The delegation, led by BMS All-India Organising Secretary Surendran B. and Central Steel Coordinator Devendra Kumar Pandey, included Kudremukh Mazdoor Sangh (KMS) Vice President K.R. Chandregowda and CWC Treasurer Udaykumar B.C.

During the meeting, key updates regarding the merger were exchanged, with valuable insights shared by both sides. BMS leaders reiterated their commitment to safeguarding workers’ interests throughout the process.
