Kittur: Two killed after bike crashes into tree

In a tragic incident on Tuesday, two bikers lost their lives after their vehicle lost control and crashed into a tree between Kadatanal and Sangolli Rayanna routes in Kittur Chennamma taluk.

The deceased have been identified as Suresh Vishwanath Halemani (28) of Hosur village in Savadatti taluk and Basavaraj Nagappa Shigganavar (27) of Tadasalur village.

The duo along with another friend had visited the Sangolli Rayanna Utsava. The accident occurred while they were returning home after dropping their friend at his residence in Turamari village.

PSI Praveen Gangol of Kittur Chennamma station visited the accident site for investigation. A case has been registered.
