A domestic altercation between a husband and wife escalated into a physical fight resulting in injuries to the husband.
The incident took place in Peraje Dasarithu. According to reports, the husband was intoxicated and picked up a quarrel with his wife. The verbal argument soon escalated into a physical fight and the wife struck the husband on the head with a ladle. The blow caused a head injury, leading to bleeding.
Neighbors intervened upon hearing the commotion. They were then taken to the Sullia Government Hospital in an ambulance where they received treatment for their injuries.
