Bengaluru:  A skill development centre will be established by the union government to train the youth community which moves abroad to work or to find good career opportunities. A taring of 20 to 30 days will be provided to the candidates on language, culture, judicial system and others of that particular country to the job seekers abroad,”  said Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaking at Pravasi Bharatiya Divas -2017 convention being held in the state capital on Sunday.

“A skill development centre is an essential thing to educate the people on foreign countries and to develop skills related the particular profession, country, language and others. The new plan is expected to help the people who move to foreign countries in search of small jobs,’’ Modi said.

The prime minister assured the job seekers that strict action will be taken to those agencies who cheat the candidates in the name of giving jobs abroad. As per the rules, recruitment agencies should register themselves in the government portal to avoid such frauds. The union government has raised the amount to be deposited by recruitment agencies from Rs 20 lakh to 50 lakh, Modi said.
